It also prompts us to recognise that grooming is a profession of skill, compassion, and endurance. For many groomers the job means standing long hours, handling anxious or frightened animals, staying updated on techniques and tools—and yet their reward often comes in the simple look of relief or comfort from a pet. Honouring them is both a gesture of thanks and a statement of respect for their role.
